Seattle

The City of Seattle lies on a narrow strip of land between Puget Sound and Lake Washington.

Seattle got its name in honor of Chief Noah Sealth who was the head of one of the two tribes that were living in the area in 1851 when Arthur Denny and some of the settlers landed at Alki Point.

The City of Seattle started a small sawmill town but has since grown into a great technology hub. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and HP all have a huge presence and this seems to continue.

The City of Seattle is known as the Emerald City. It is also called The City of Flowers, The Coffee Capital of the World, The Jet City because of the prominence of the aerospace industry, The Queen City while the other nickname is The Rain City.

The Municipal Court of Seattle

The Municipal Court of Seattle is the largest Limited Jurisdiction Court in the State of Washington and this Municipal Court of Seattle is a limited jurisdiction Court.  

The Municipal Court of Seattle is located at 600 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104-1900. When planning a visit to the court it is important for you to note that the Justice Center hours of operation are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday Through Friday except for public holidays.
